File _service:tar_scm_kernel_repo:0045-x509-excessive-resource-use-verifying-policy-constra.patch of Package edk2
From 6ca0630d28a052c22bcca15019fb35253e6bceed Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Pauli <pauli@openssl.org> Date: Wed, 8 Mar 2023 15:28:20 +1100 Subject: [PATCH 01/11] x509: excessive resource use verifying policy constraints A security vulnerability has been identified in all supported versions of OpenSSL related to the verification of X.509 certificate chains that include policy constraints. Attackers may be able to exploit this vulnerability by creating a malicious certificate chain that triggers exponential use of computational resources, leading to a denial-of-service (DoS) attack on affected systems.
